I got my D today!
The patio is bleached and beautiful. The chairs are washed so we can sit on them without getting dirty. The two pitiful potted plants have been watered. I bleached and filled the birdbath. I filled the feeders. I put poison on some ant hills. I watered and trimmed one of the rosebushes. In fact, I gave a lot of the blooming plants a little drink.
All this under a wonderful blue sky, warmed by the sun and cooled by a light breeze and actually breathing outside air. I don't know if it's really clean air, but it's better than inside.
Of course I am pretty pooped, but a little while in the chair with my hard pillow in the small of my back, a trio of ibuprofen caps and I should be fine in a little while. It's only 2pm and my next project will be supper.
If this ain't spring it's the next best thing. Allejuia!!

see everything looks better in the springtime.
well, I wanted to have the Bortettelo parmesean- chicken but hubby wants the frozen pizza and a salad. They are both easy to fix
don't do too much in one day -we try to spread out stuff over the 7days. lol
I am feeling your exhuberance! You got to accomplish what you wanted to and had a beautiful day at the same time. Now that is what I call a good day. Get in there and rattle them pots and pans.....it ain't over yet! Dick wants "creamed cabbage" for the vegetable tonight. I will have to "experiment" and make something that resembles what he is requesting! I suppose it is not all that much different from creamed cauliflower, right?
Gosh, what are your hourly rates?
Wow-spring has hit you !! I should be outside working too,but I can't get going today. I'm so glad your feeling better.
You have blooming plants!!! I'm barely starting to see hints of green along the edges of the bushes... but it's encouraging! Congratulations on getting so much done today!! I hope the ibuprofen is helpful and dinner won't be a painful chore.
sounds great! i can't wait to get home and do some work yardwork myself
Just saw the Sunday post. No notice of it arrived. lol You sure look like your mom!
Nice out here too, nice wind as well.
Ava what kind of vitamins are you taking????
@jillcarmel - I'd like to know how you fix that chicken breast. Sounds wonderful. @Barbie519 - I've never done creamed cabbage, but you ought to be able to find a recipe on the web. We had breaded pork chops, mashed potatoes, baby lima beans with whole kernel corn, and fried okra. Easy enough and Gordon loved it. @vexations - I wouldn't know what to charge, but I have an idea you can't afford me. LOL @Maggietx1 - Yeah, Maggie, it was so enjoyable. I hope to do more and more as the weather cooperates. @LetMeGoToo - We had another extremely mild winter, Donna and many of my plants wintered over. But I have lots of bare spots that need to be filled. @Southland - You're welcome here anytime to work in the yard, Dotter. LOL @BLB - The older I get, the more I favor Mom. I thought I emailed notifies to everyone. Sorry. Did you get one for today? @Karens_Potpourri - You have to realize I only do this every once in a while, not every day. And I take whatever Walgreen's has that has all I need in it.
Sounds like you had a busy, productive day. Tomorrow the sun is supposed to shine here, and the temp be in the 60's. I hope to get outside and plant peas and lettuce.
@ata_grandma - Little green peas? I would love that. I buy them frozen. I don't think they will grow here, too hot and dry.
Sounds like a wonderful day!
Aaah,,, I'm jealous. But I hear we're suppose to have a nice weekend. I will get out in the yard myself.
Play in the dirt. :)
I'm so glad you were out enjoying all the spring has to offer.
Be well my friend,

chicken breast is easy -it taste as good as a resturant in town-in the freezer section get the Bertolli Oven Baked meals-there are 4 of them-we like the Chicken Parmigian & Penne and we just make a salad and save ourselves the going out and the tip.-it is that good!
@ava It has been a long week for me. I am ready for retirement or a new career. Only thing once you hit 50 no one wants to hire you so you have to stay where you are at. Teaching is not easy these days esp. middle school. So I hang on and keep thinking next year will be better. I have a break in a few weeks and hope to work in my yard. It is still a little cool here so things are just starting to bloom.
Thanks for naming the bird. Rose breasted Grossbeak
@ava - it wasn't poisonous - pain ole garden snake. We had an umbrella that we were using. We had a distance.
