Short One
It's cloudy and windy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's been like that on and off for about a month and a half. We will get a day or so of sun but then it back to the same clouds. And the wind keeps everyone's hair on end. Of course, mine needs a cut so it looks terrible anyway. I have an appointment on Tuesday for a whack job.
On the health front, things are about the same. I have an appointment for my yearly physical on the same day as my haircut. I have a long list of questions for ol Doc P. He's a patient fellow and listens well. LOL He probably goes into his inner office and screams after I leave.
Cats are fine, shedding like crazy. I keep a brush in the bathroom and when I go in there for any reason, they follow, hoping for a good brushing. I wonder why they like it? For the attention? They get a good amount of that anyway, but maybe it just feels good.
Church this afternoon and no cooking for supper. I am picking up something at Luby's again. I'd really prefer to come home and eat a sandwich but Gordon doesn't like a sandwich for a meal. Maybe it's 45 years of taking a lunch to work every day that prompts that.
Is there a flu bug living in your town? None reported here, but some of the schools have canceled or postponed extracurricular events. I went to the grocery store and will go to Mass so will not be exposed to many germs. I carry Purell in my pocket.

I have just about quit reading blogs, now that Jess is calling it quits, and Facebook takes up a lot of my time, and this walking on the beach habit that I have is getting to be more and more time consuming than ever. I also do not get notices from Xanga anymore letting me know when new entries are added to my list, so it is becoming a thing of the past with me. Thanks for letting me know by email when you do your posting. I don't write on my Xanga page very much either. I find that it is more like work than fun trying to think of something to write about. Good luck with the doctor next week (and the whack job).
I haven't got that comb yet for the dogs called the defurminator. It's like $22 and you can get it on Amazon.com I heard.
yes, my hubby would eat the sandwich and say,"that will tied me over until supper."
the weather is weird and I don't know how to dress in the morning.
at Walgreen's the girl had to use that stuff after each customer. lol
before the dr. would go in the room with a lady I would put alittle note -hair and he could tell them how nice they looked.
That wind just seems to be blowing EVERYWHERE!!! It nearly blew our whole wiener roast off the picnic table last Sunday. Today, it's been calm all day, for the first time, in I can't remember when!!!
We had a nice day here in michigan,, I actually got out and did a bit of weeding. And the yard got mowed.
We have had the wind and clouds though, all week. I'm feeling lucky we've had a nice day on a saturday.
I hope the hair cut and physical goes well. Do we get a before and after picture?
(of the hair cut, not the physical,, ha)
Have a great weekend. :)

I think that is what docs are use to. IF not, they need to get out of thier profession - how else can they get the big picture of our health.
I got my hair cut this week. Sure makes a difference in the way you feel. I have been off for a week so I go back on Monday.
No flu in our state so that is one good thing. A big surprised but relieved.
Once my dad retired he refused to ever eat a sandwich again. He'd eat a bowl of cereal for supper if mom didn't fix anything.
I noticed at Communion yesterday everyone dipped their bread in the juice (Methodists don't use wine) and the pastor told them before hand they didn't have to if they didn't want to. I wonder if they are like me and think the media has blown this out of proportion.
